A former suspect in the 1996 slaying of 6-year-old child beauty queen JonBenét Ramsey has been arrested on child pornography charges in Colorado.

According to the Daily Camera, Gary Howard Oliva, 52, was arrested in Boulder on Friday. He allegedly uploaded more than 20 graphic images to a Google email account. The search engine sent a "cybertip" to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, who then forwarded to Boulder police.

Several photos show a young girl believed to be between the ages of 4 and 6 engaging in sexual acts with an adult male.

Oliva was charged on Tuesday at the Boulder County Jail with 4 felonies, including attempted sexual exploitation of a child and sexual exploitation of a child.

The man, who is described as homeless, is a registered sex offender in Oregon and recently registered as a sex offender in Colorado earlier this month.

Oliva was one of the first suspects in Ramsey's death. CBS produced a "48 Hours Investigates" in 2002 on the unsolved murder and focused on Oliva for a portion of it, reports the Daily Camera. During the special, it is revealed that Oliva made a phone call to a friend shortly after the young girl's death, saying he had "done something horrible" to a child in Boulder.

Oliva has maintained his innocence. JonBenét Ramsey's death remains unsolved.
