OnlyOnAOL: Damon, Mara, Woodley speak out against Yulin dog festival

By: Donna Freydkin

There are some things in life you can't unsee. No matter how much you wish you could. And some things that just don't make sense to anyone with compassion.

It's one of the many reasons Matt Damon, Kate and Rooney Mara, Joaquin Phoenix, Maggie Q. Jason Bateman, Shailene Woodley, Caitriona Balfe, Lance Bass, Kaley Cuoco and the Animal Hope and Wellness Project (and founder Marc Ching) have banded together to fight against the Yulin dog meat festival In China. And Lisa Vanderpump has been a longtime foe of the festival; watch her interview above.

"I stand by Marc Ching and all his heroic efforts to put a stop to the Yulin dog meat festival. As human beings, it is our moral obligation to do everything in our power to stop this mindless abuse. We cannot standby in silence. We must use our voices to end to this nightmare," says Kate Mara.
