Michael Keaton Back In Talks For Spider-Man Movie, New Details

"Community" actor Donald Glover has joined Sony's "Spider-Man: Homecoming," sources confirmed to Variety.

Tom Holland plays the webslinging superhero and Robert Downey Jr. is also set to reprise his role of Tony Stark.

Jon Watts is directing Sony's reboot of the "Spider-Man franchise." Marisa Tomei is set to play Aunt May and Zendaya is also on board in a mystery role. Details on Barbieri's role have not been disclosed other than being a friend to Holland's Peter Parker character.

Kevin Feige is producing with Amy Pascal.

Plot details are still being heavily guarded as is a description of Glover's character.

Production is expected to star this summer with the film set to bow on July 7, 2017.

Glover was most recently seen in the Oscar nominated film "The Martian" opposite Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain. He can be seen next in his FX comedy "Atlanta" which premieres later this summer. Other past credits include "Lazarus" and Magic Mike XXL."
