Banana and Blueberry Baked Oatmeal

It's time to upgrade your morning routine, and advance from plain ol' oats to this delicious treat.

This super easy recipe will help you get the job done. You'll end up with one tasty but healthy breakfast meal. Watch the video above, or read the instructions below to get cookin'!

Prep the base:
​1. Grease a 9x9 pan
2. Line the bottom of greased pan with a layer of sliced bananas
3. Spread 3/4 cup of blueberries atop the bananas
4. Sprinkle 1/2 tsp of cinnamon on top of fruit
5. Drizzle 1 tbs of honey over fruit
6. Cover the pan with aluminum foil
7. Bake at 375 degrees for fifteen minutes

Get mixin':
8. Combine and mix the following dry ingredients in a mixing bowl:

  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 1/8 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

9. Combine and mix the following wet ingredients in another mixing bowl:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup honey

Combine the base and mix:
10. Sprinkle dry mixture over baked blueberries and bananas
11. Pour wet mixture over dry mixture
12. Top it off with some more blueberries and walnuts
13. Bake pan at 375 degrees for 30 minutes

And voilà, your mouthwatering breakfast is set for some days to come. Your stomach will thank you.
