President Obama pens 'thank you notes' with Jimmy Fallon (Video)
Jimmy Fallon wrote out "Thank You" cards with the leader of the free world last night, shoehorning in a sincere one at the end of several jokes.
The honor, pen, and soft keyboard music for Thursday's first "Tonight Show" "Thank You Note" went to President Obama, who basically scribed a bit of gratitude to himself right off the bat.
Fallon then used his own turn to thank the president's birth certificate: "He used to carry it around to prove he's American, now he carries it around to prove he's only 54."

Obama used the cue to go with more of a quip in his next turn, which was followed by a Fallon shot at Hillary Clinton — the 2016 Democratic nominee who recently received the chief executive's endorsement.
The president saved his best — a Trump slam — for last, and his NBC host closed the whole thing out with a sweet "Thank You" to the outgoing top politician.
