Remember Jesse from 'Free Willy'? Just wait until you see what he looks like now!

There were many movies that have been cemented in the brains of thousands of millennials, and if you think back, most probably include animation or an animal of some sort.

One of those movies that we love so much was the inspiring tale of "Free Willy."

The 1993 hit classic tells the story of a young boy, Jesse, played by Jason James Richter, who finds out a beloved orca whale is to going be killed by the aquarium owners and does everything he can to try and free the whale.

As a kid, watching this, it could have been your first cry. Unless of course you saw Mufasa die in "The Lion King" first, than that was definitely the one. The story carried on for two more movies, "Free Willy 2: The Adventure Home," and "Free Willy 3: The Rescue"

We did a bit of digging and decided to check out what Jesse's been up to, and of course, what he looks like today! 36-year-old Jason James Richter has stayed pretty busy since his "Free Willy" days. The actor has appeared in a variety of TV series, and has quite a few projects in production, according to his IMDb page!
