The 22 Push-up Challenge was created by non-profit, 22 Kill, to raise awareness about suicide prevention among veterans.
On average, 22 veterans commit suicide a day in the U.S., according to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Participants are supposed to film themselves completing 22 pushups to help bring together civilians and veterans, according to Business Insider.
Over five million pushups have been recorded so far, which is about a quarter of the 22 million goal the organization hopes to reach.
