Well, if there was ever a person to get Shakespeare right, it's Meryl Streep. The Academy Award goddess, recent foodstagram star, and Hamilton belter, performed at Monday's annual Shakespeare in the Park Public Theater Gala, where she and Christine Baranski took ol' Willy Shakespeare to new, soaring political heights. Audience members tweeted out videos of the pals performing a duet of "Brush Up Your Shakespeare" from Kiss Me Kate — Meryl in full wig, suit, her face painted orange — perfectly timed with Hillary's primary win.
