Photo captures mom's shocked expression she finds out newborn isn't a girl

Photos of a mom's hilarious shocked expression when she found out her baby "girl" was actually a baby boy are going viral.

A couple in Australia had been told they'd be having a baby girl, so for months that's what they had expected. But when the day came and Koto Nakamura gave birth, the doctor announced she had a baby boy.

The couple's birth photographer, Jes Jackson, captured her reaction at the perfect moment as Nakamura tried to process the surprising news.

"Koto thought she had misheard and misunderstood and looked to me to ask for clarification and that was when I snapped the photo," Jackson told Buzzfeed.

Jackson said the couple is thrilled with the new addition to their family and think all the attention is pretty funny.
