Las Vegas dream home is inspired by Coco Chanel and ethereal Tuscany
Las Vegas, Nevada is known for its opulence and grandeur, and this mansion that sits just 20 minutes outside of the strip in Country Club Hills is no exception.
This 13,000-square-foot estate sits on just under 1.5 acres of land trimmed with $1M worth of palm trees (yes, you read that correctly), $500K of trees that were flown in from Tuscany and nearly 2,400 individual rose bushes.
The elegance and ethereal gardens and outside only set the backdrop for the mansion itself, which features six bedrooms (each of them is its own suite) and nine bathrooms total.
You'll want to daydream and stare at pictures of this place all day:
The real star of the house is the master suite, which was modeled after the CoCo Chanel suite at the Ritz Carlton in Paris, France.
We're talking silk-lined walls enamored with 24-karat gold sconces and a bed replicated after Ms. Chanel's herself.
The walk-in closet (which seems like an understatement for how large and ornate it is) looks more like a designer boutique, and that's exactly what it's meant to emulate -- its design is inspired to replicate the original Chanel store in Paris.
The estate was clearly not built or decorated with a buyer in mind, as the five-year remodeling that it underwent called for nearly everything, from the walls to the doors to the lighting, to be hand-picked and selected by the current owners.
This Italian-inspired desert oasis is on the market for $22M, but with everything this place has to offer, we'd say making the move is anything but a gamble.
