It's pretty much a fact -- "Friends" is one of the top 5 best series in the history of television.

You could pretty catch an episode anywhere on TV and of course, Netflix. Soon, one episode turns to 12, turns to 236, and you're watching Rachel tearfully say "I got off the plane." Ugh, what a moment.

While many people declare themselves a super-fan, only true, true fans would know the following 10 fun facts about the Central perk gang.

10.) The series went through a variety of name changes, such as "Six of One" and "Insomnia Cafe." In an interview back in 2012 for Vanity Fair, co-creator Marta Kaufma said "Six of One" sounded too much like Gen X and decided to nix it. Needless to say, we loved what they chose.

9.) Monica and Joey were the original love interests for the show, Phoebe and Chandler were supposed to be secondary characters, and they thought Chandler might be gay!

8.) The show's theme song "I'll Be There For You" was on the Billboard Hot 100 charts for eight weeks back in 1995!

1.) And finally, the main cast started out making $22,000 an episode. Then in 1997, they renegotiated for $100,000 per episode. And of course, in the 10th and final season, made a whopping $1 million per episode -- which many refer to in the business now as "Friends" money.
