The Golden State Warriors proved that they can't be killed off. The Oklahoma City Thunder had them on the ropes, and on the verge of elimination, yet they blew it three times to lose in seven games.

By now, everyone knows that rapper Lil B is a Bay Area native, and put a curse on Kevin Durant four years ago for calling him "wack". Fast-forward to today, and Durant and the Thunders still have not won a title, and blew the best chance any team had of eliminating the Warriors in the playoffs.

As soon as Game 7 came to an end, Lil B reminded us all that the Based God curse is a real and terrifying thing:

The Warriors posted the best record of all-time and got through a series without Stephen Curry. He was invisible in parts of this series and showed up when they needed him the most.

Whether Lil B is behind the Warriors' success or not, this series proved that anything less than a perfect game will not kill them off, and that there's practically nothing to stop them from winning the Championship again.
