A new study from NASA is attempting to figure out what this stuff is. It's concluding that dark matter is made of black holes formed during the first second of our universe's existence.
If thats true, it would mean all galaxies are embedded within a vast sphere of black holes.
There are more tests to be done, but considering it's invisible and highly mysterious -- all options are on the table
