A woman left a note at a bar to remind people what Memorial Day is about
A lieutenant didn't want the life of a fallen soldier lost in a three-day weekend of drinking.
A women came into a local bar and left this sign and note. This is what memorial day is about from pics
The unnamed woman left a pile of cash and a note at a bar to honor the memory of U.S. Army Capt. Jesse Ozbat, who was killed by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan four years ago.
In a 2014 feature, Ozbat's younger brother Elijah said, "Life is definitely a privilege because it's so easy to take away. So, I definitely appreciate the willingness and sacrifice that people in the military make so that we can be free in this country."
While you gather around the BBQ this Memorial Day, consider making a toast to an armed forces member who gave their life serving our country.
