Saturday Night Live star and writer Leslie Jones has made a name for herself in comedy but before she got her big break, the Ghostbusters actress had a very unique job.
Jones appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday alongside her Ghostbusters co-stars Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig, and Melissa McCarthy. Out of the blue, DeGeneres hit the audience with an unknown fact about the funny woman.
"You were a telemarketer for Scientology?" the host asked Jones.
"Uh, yeah, they kinda still don't know I'm not a Scientologist," she replied, laughing. "Thanks for blowing my cover, Ellen!"
Her co-stars were shocked by this revelation, jokingly scooting down the couch to get away from her.
"I lived in Glendale I needed to pay the rent, and it was a very easy interview," Jones said. "I just acted crazy... Oh my God, I'm sorry Scientologists for revealing things."
But Jones wasn't the only star with an unusual career history.
McKinnon revealed that she was once an umpire for Little League.
"In retrospect, I should have brushed up on the rules for softball before litigating them," she quipped.
Watch the clips now to see the cast play hilarious games with DeGeneres and talk about their pasts!
Ghostbusters hits theaters on July 15.
