The CMT Music Awards are getting sporty!
ET has learned exclusively that Erin Andrews and NFL star J.J. Watt have been tapped to co-host this year's ceremony, airing live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday, June 8, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CMT. The 2016 ceremony marks Andrews' second consecutive run as host, while Watt joins as a first-timer.
"I'm thrilled to come back to Nashville to co-host the CMT Music Awards," said Andrews. "I had so much fun last year, and I can't wait to see what antics J.J. and I will get into together. Plus, there's nothing better than seeing my favorite country artists get recognized for their great work."
"There are two things that I know about the people of Nashville...they love country music and they know how to throw a party," joked Watt, who served as a presenter last year. "When you put those two things together, it makes for one heck of a night. I can't wait to host the awards with Erin and be part of such a great night, honoring the biggest stars in country music."

The stars will definitely be out for the so-called "loudest night in country music." Fifth Harmony and up-and-coming country darling Cam will perform together, joining an impressive roster of performers, which includes Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and Thomas Rhett.
ET also got the scoop on the first batch of presenters, which includes Vince Vaughn, Rob Riggle, Danica Patrick, Charles Kelley, Kellie Pickler, Dan + Shay and Cole Swindell. Two of CMT's newest sitcom stars, Still the King's Joey Lauren Adams and Madison Iseman, will also dole out trophies ahead of the Billy Ray Cyrus comedy's June 12 debut.
