You have a great YouTube channel. What led to the creation of that?
I wanted to be able to present all my different interests and projects to my fans. I have fans on Twitter who always ask me how I do my eyebrows or hairstyles, because I have staple looks my fans like and I wanted to showcase that to them. And even the cooking is something that I love to do! It's nice to have a channel where people can learn something new as well. I had so many mentions on Twitter by people saying that they loved my tacos. And that video has over 3 million views! Me and Kylie had fun and I'm glad that this isn't just for entertainment and that people are really learning from me. And if they're saying it's good, then even better!

Where did your love of cooking first begin?
I was raised by both my godmother and my biological mother. They taught me two totally different aspects of life. My mother is very caring and giving and she will give me the shirt off of her back. My godmother has always been very strong and independent, and she raised me as well as my godsisters, all on her own. She always had me in the kitchen cooking with her, whether it was snapping green beans or grating cheese or washing dishes. And now I love to cook!

What's the dynamic like between you and your fans?
I have a solid group who are ride or die, which is so crazy to me. I love that they support me and they're my support system. They push me and promote me, and always have my back when there's drama.

What's the one piece of advice you wish you received before entering into the entertainment industry?
Probably it would have to do with trusting people. People often say that you can't trust everyone. But it's something you hear and you don't necessarily apply all the time. There have been certain situations where I wish I didn't open up too much to people. I'm really learning now in this very moment, that you have to be careful about who you let into your life, because people have different agendas. There always are good people, and there are sketchy people, so just be mindful of how you navigate through relationships and people in the industry.
