Fab or flop: Miley Cyrus and Gigi Hadid rock '80s-inspired prints

Woah! We definitely needed a warning before seeing Miley Cyrus' mismatched, print-heavy ensemble this week. The singer totally made a loud statement in black and white floral trousers, an outrageous embroidered oversized jacket, a painted sweatshirt and bright yellow pumps. While it's not for us, we can't help but admit she rocks it.

We preferred Gigi Hadid's understated, yet also '80s-inspired look. The model stunned in simple black slacks and a fun, black and white Rubin bustier top with serious retro vibes. A simple choker, loose waves and pointy pumps completed her sophisticated take on the trend. (Similar top here.)

Like Miley, Mariah Carey also missed the mark in a seriously revealing LBD and that flaunted her ample cleavage and exposed a lacy bra. While the dress was okay, we're definitely not fans of the tacky fishnets she has been rocking lately. Paired with super-high platform pumps, they cheapen her otherwise glam look.

Heidi Klum, on the other hand, wowed in a casual yet sexy black minidress with a lace-up neckline. A low-key St. Laurent 'Panier' basket bag and simple wedges made the revealing frock daytime-appropriate. (Similar bag here.)
