Heidi Klum, Katy Perry and more stars stun in risque looks at amfAR Gala in Cannes

The theme of this year's Cannes Film Festival seems to be how daring can you make your dress?

amfAR's 23rd Cinema Against AIDS Gala at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Thursday was no exception with dozens of leading ladies hitting the fancy soiree in eye-popping attire. From sky-high slits to plunging necklines to completely sheer dresses, the gorgeous women were dressed to kill.

Model Chanel Iman had one of the most jaw-dropping looks of the evening in a silver Marchesa dress that bared her breasts and her behind. The 25-year-old turned heads in the frock, which had netting like details with floral embellishments, but left little to the imagination with only a tiny set of knickers.

Also rocking the sheer and underwear trend were models Hailey Clauson, Lara Stone, Sasha Luss, and Natasha Poly.

And while sheer was definitely one of the hottest looks of the evening, plunging necklines and sexy slits were also very on-trend.

Heidi Klum lead the pack of women who hit the event with dresses that featured sky-high slits that nearly left them with wardrobe malfunctions. Model Alessandra Ambrosio donned a sheer gown, which showed off her incredible physique as it featured a plunging neckline, small undies, and a thigh-high slit. Victoria's Secret stunner Karlie Kloss also put her best foot forward in a dress with an up-to-there slit that put her perfect pins on full display.

And while most of the dresses fell on along the risque side, some stars like Katy Perry just simply dressed to impress. The "Firework" singer dazzled in a flamenco-like dress with bold, ruffled sleeves and a lace bodice. She wore her hair back in a sophisticated bun.
