Court records indicate it was not the first time the two had been involved sexually.
According to The Morning Call, both the teen and Aldinger admitted their relations had been going on since fall.
On Tuesday, a charge of institutional sexual assault was levied against the teacher and bail was set at $50,000.
The bond was paid, and she was released that afternoon.
Her next appearance before a judge is scheduled for May 31.
Aldinger, who is 49, was employed through the agency Source4Teachers, which has since placed her on indefinite suspension.
