Obama tweets 69 percent statistic, Twitter's pretty into it
Now that got Twitter's attention.
President Barack Obama has been trying hard to appoint a new Supreme Court Justice in the wake of Justice Antonin Scalia's death. He chose a popular, moderate judge, Merrick Garland, but the Republican senate has vowed to block any nominee.

The serious political maneuvering was cut Friday when Obama made a move that made Twitter collectively giggle. To urge senators to do their job, Obama made the mistake of citing a statistic that 69 percent of Americans want the Senate to hold a vote on Garland.
The tweet brought out the inner fourth grader in us all.
