Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden release stunning family portraits
What a picture perfect family!
Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden posed for a series of portraits with their newborn son -- and it's absolutely stunning.
The royal couple was all smiles in a series of five photos with Prince Alexander Erik Hubertus Bertil, who was born on April 19 in Stockholm. Their adorable pooch, Siri, even made a special appearance!
In one photo, the proud parents sat on the sofa at their family home in Drottningholm Palace. Princess Sofia was a vision in a cream-colored dress complete with matching pumps. Her husband looked just as dapper in a grey suit while cradling their son.

They also took the intimate shoot outdoors. Another photo shows the family sitting on a bench in what appears to be a garden. The former model and reality TV star donned a different outfit in the same color, as she opted for a ruffled blouse, pants and the same pair of heels.
Two black-and-white pictures revealed a close-up view of the happy parents holding their precious newborn.
It seems like Prince Alexander was on his best behavior during the shoot as he's pictured sleeping through the whole thing!
The breathtaking photographs were released just in time for Prince Carl Philip's 37th birthday.
"We want to in this way to thank everyone for all the congratulations we have received in connection with our son, Prince Alexander's, birth. We very much appreciate your warmth and caring," the couple wrote on Facebook.
The famous couple got married in the summer of 2015 after meeting at a restaurant five years prior.
