Original Destiny's Child member LeToya Luckett is set to play R&B and pop music legend Dionne Warwick in an upcoming biopic, Warwick announced in Cannes on Friday.

Lady Gaga, Olympia Dukakis and Danny Glover will also appear in the film, to be called Dionne.

AMBI Pictures, the L.A.-based production outfit set up by Italian producer Andrea Iervolino and Bacardi drinks heiress Monika Bacardi, will produce the film and handle international sales, shopping the project to buyers here in Cannes.

Warwick is one of the most successful recording artists of all time. A five-time Grammy winner, she has scored international hits with songs such as I Say a Little Prayer, Do You Know the Way to San Jose? or the 1987 charity single That's What Friends Are For, recorded together with Elton John, Gladys Knight and Stevie Wonder, which raised millions for AIDS research foundation AmFAR. She is also the cousin of the late pop star Whitney Houston.

Perhaps best known for her long-time collaboration with songwriters Burt Bacharach and Hal David, Warwick, with 69 charted singles between 1962 and 1998, is the second most-charted female vocalist of all time on the Billboard Hot 100 Pop Singles Charts, behind only Aretha Franklin.
