Tired of those cliche, overly perfect, almost stock-photo looking engagement photos? A couple from Minnesota weren't huge fans either and decided to do something completely different.

Instead of getting all nicely done-up, Karinne Tarshish and Dan Klamet decided to tone things down and get real. They took their engagement photos at Costco.

"I didn't like the idea of having the regular engagement pics," Tarshish wrote on Reddit. "I thought it would be funny to have pictures of us doing really mundane things, and then decided it would be better to romanticize those mundane things."

So off they went down the aisles of Coscto, staring lovingly into each other's eyes while holding 4-packs of butter, cradling a giant bag of meat outside the butcher, and so on.

They wanted different? Mission accomplished.

So how did they end up picking that grocery store location?

"We just both really like Costco," Tarshish wrote.

Oh, and in case you're wondering ...

They "did get traditional photos (also for free), just in case these didn't turn out."
