New Jersey teacher delivers powerful message to students by drawing on their desks
(WPIX) -- It used to be that if you doodled on your desk in school, you'd get in a whole lot of trouble.
But one New Jersey teacher is making quite a mark with her words of wisdom, that have literally been spelled out for her students.

Fifth-grade teacher Chandni Langford wrote a personalized note with dry erase markers on each of her students' desks to help calm their nerves before taking a seven-day test that determines if they get to move on to the next grade.
She even added a few donut holes to each desk as an extra perk.
Langford also signed each message with the hashtag "growth mindset."
One message reads, "Learning is your superpower! Remember, never stop trying and never stop growing your brain!"
So far, the pictures posted to Facebook of her inspirational desks have been shared more than 18,000 with total strangers commending her efforts — showing that a little doodle, can go a long way.
