Wednesday morning, a fan took to Twitter to try and get Rowling's attention. The user explained that she would love for J.K. Rowling to tweet a picture of the spell "Expecto Patronum," the famous "Harry Potter" spell, in her own writing. They went on to explain that they suffered from self harm, having attempted suicide eight times.

They go on to say that the reason they tell 'Jo' (J.K.'s name) is because they know she won't judge. Possibly the most heartbreaking line in the paragraph, "I wanna get 'expecto patronum' tattooed on the wrist I usually cut the most."

And thus, J.K. Rowling to the rescue. Shortly after the tweet was posted, Rowling noticed the heartbreaking tweet and did what she does best, help out her fans.

The author wrote " I love that you're working to heal and protect yourself. You deserve this. I hope it helps," accompanied with possibly the most beautiful signature we've ever seen.
