EXCLUSIVE: Cole Swindell releases live video of 'You Should Be Here'

Updated

Cole Swindell is rising to the top --fast and has come a long way since being Luke Bryan's merch guy.

The 32-year-old country crooner just debuted his sophomore album, "You Should Be Here" based on his hit single of the same name and shared his behind-the-scenes live video for his single exclusively with AOL. The "You Should Be Here" video weaves in and out of the Georgia native's concerts, with enthusiastic fans singing along, to shots of his old stomping grounds, and you can't help but feel connected to Swindell.

Swindell wrote the song alongside Ashley Gorley and it's dedicated to his late father, who passed away suddenly several years ago while he was on his country radio tour. It's deeply personal and it's already topped Billboard's Country Chart, marking the fifth consecutive No. 1 single of his solo career and eighth overall as a songwriter.

The baseball cap-loving singer is exactly what country music is moving toward. He's a little bit county, a lot of emotion, with a modern, relatabale twist that makes you feel like you're hanging out with your best buddy.

Watch the video above now and be sure to head over to Swindell's Flipboard Magazine at 4 PM EST where he'll debut the video and have his own curated magazine.
