Secret to Youthful Appearance Found in the Ginger Gene

If you've been searching for the Fountain of Youth, you might be wasting your time, because scientists claim to have found the secret to a youthful appearance, and it's linked to genetics, specifically the 'ginger gene'.

After conducting a study of perceived age in which they took almost 3,000 photos of people without any makeup on, the results indicated that those with the MC1R gene were more likely to be perceived to be younger younger than those without the gene.

Scientists will now uses this research to further study how genetics affect age, and hopefully help people without the ginger gene look younger.
