Steve Carell's mom dies before Mother's Day

Steve Carell revealed on Monday that his mother died over the weekend.

The actor, 53, posted on Twitter that his mom, Harriet Carell, died Saturday -- just one day before Mother's Day -- at the age of 90.

"Love You Mom," his sweet tribute said.

Carell passed away at her Acton, Massachusetts, home surrounded family, according to AP, and is survived by her actor son, three other children and six grandchildren.
