Budding mixed martial arts star and "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Paige VanZant will not compete at UFC 200 as originally planned.

According to a report by Ariel Helwani of MMA Fighting, VanZant has decided to postpone her return to the Octagon after the reality show has consumed more of her time.

"After thinking about it, the show is taking up a lot of her time," Roberts said as reported by Helwani. "She wants to have time to improve and get better, so we decided to postpone her return to about late-August."

This would have been a major opportunity to have VanZant on the card as she's growing into a mainstream personality due to her stunning performances on the show. On Monday's edition of the show she earned a perfect score of 30. Since the season started VanZant was projected to be one of the frontrunners to win but her success with partner Mark Ballas has caught many off guard. Before her time in the world of MMA, VanZant was a dancer at a young age.

VanZant boasts a 6-2 record in her MMA career. She last competed at UFC Fight Night 80 where she was stopped in the fifth round by Rose Namajunas. Before that point she had won four straight fights with wins over the likes of Felice Herrig and Kailin Curran.
