According to a recent regulatory filing, Facebook is quite serious about keeping its leader safe – $16 million serious, reports CNET.

That is how much the company has spent on security measures for Zuckerberg since 2011.

Notably, the sum includes private air travel.

Of course, when discussing expenditures connected to billionaires, it's often hard to assess what constitutes normal.

However, compared with safety costs connected to other CEOs, it does appear that Zuckerberg's security budget is rather lush, notes Quartz.

In 2015, Amazon paid out $1.6 million to watch over and protect Jeff Bezos.

That's also about the amount Oracle earmarked that same year for Larry Ellison's safekeeping.
