Chilling note from murderer left beside the bodies of slain married couple
A chilling note was left beside the bodies of a slain married couple in San Jose.
Sources who say they were inside the home after the bodies of the couple were found say they saw writing on the floor. The note read, "Sorry my first kill was clumsy."
The rest of the note read "I can't be like you, telling a lie. I can't love someone without telling them," according to sources. The message has left the community with mixed emotions of fear and shock.
According to authorities, the couple, Shamima and Golam Rabbi, were found with multiple gunshot wounds inside their home.
Police were called to the Rabbi's home under "suspicious circumstances" and, upon arrival, found the couple dead.
Police in San Jose reportedly have both of the couple's sons in custody. This comes after telling reporters the "incident was not a random act of violence," and "the suspect was someone familiar with the family."
Both Shamima and Golam Rabbi were heavily involved with the nearby Evergreen Islamic Center.
