Drake kicked off the week off with a major two-pronged announcement about his summer plans. The Toronto rapper announced on Twitter (April 24) that he would be embarking on a Summer Sixteen tour with What a Time To Be Alive collaborator Future as well as hosting his seventh annual OVO Fest.

The Summer Sixteen tour -- which borrows the name of Drizzy's February release that hit the No. 1 spot on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart -- will kick off July 20 in Austin then hit major cities until the final show in Vancouver on Sept. 17. OVO Sound reps Roy Woods and DVSN will also perform along with unnamed special guests.

Drake Posts 'Views From the 6' Album Art, May Be Joined by Future on Summer Sixteen Tour

From July 29 to Aug. 1, Drake's annual ode to Toronto, OVO Fest, will descend on the Air Canada Centre with a star-studded lineup of performers. On Friday, the OVO Bounce party will take place followed by High Road tourmates Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa headlining Saturday's bill. On Sunday night, Drake looks to bring his Views to the city that raised him with his own show. Past acts have included Diddy, OutKast, YG, Big Sean and J. Cole.

Tickets for the Summer Sixteen tour will arrive on Live Nation on Friday (April 23), the same drop date as his fourth studio effort Views From The 6.
