Remember when Donald Trump took down WWE's Vince McMahon in 2007?
Over the last 10 months, Donald Trump has morphed from a a real estate mogul and television personality to one of the five people left standing in the race to the White House.
So, with his campaign placing him in the headlines nearly every single day, it's funny to look back at a time -- in the not-so-distant past -- that Trump was simply just a very rich celebrity, whose actions didn't mean much to greater society.

But back in 2007 -- a much simpler time -- we all had an opportunity to laugh with the current GOP frontrunner as he played the role of himself in the WWE.
In the video above, Trump runs up on, and trounces, WWE boss Vince McMahon. The incident preceded a "battle of the billionaires," in which Trump backed wrestler Bobby Lashley for a bout against one of McMahon's fighters, Umaga. The wager? A head-shaving live at WrestleMania.
Predictably, Trump was not the one on the receiving end of the clippers.
These days, it's tough to think of Donald Trump as anything other than a highly controversial politician. But once upon a time, he was involved in much more lighthearted bits of entertainment.
