Tupac warned of Donald Trump's greed 24 years ago

MTV News has dug up a 24-year-old unaired interview with Tupac Shakur in which the hip-hop icon criticizes Donald Trump as greedy and demanded greater wealth equality.

"You're taught in school, in big business, if you want to be successful, if you want to be like Trump...gimme gimme gimme!"

In the August 1992 interview, Tupac also speaks about his frustration with the unequal spread of wealth in the United States, and talks about how African-Americans can fight for equality. His words sound more relevant than ever in the era of Occupy Wall Street, #BlackLivesMatter and Bernie Sanders blasting Wall Street and the One Percent.

Tupac spoke to MTV as he rose to become one of the most famous and influential rappers of his generation, a year after the release of his debut album, "2pacalyse Now."

"I don't have mega-money," says Tupac, who was shot and killed in 1996. "But I know that if I have three thousand dollars in my pocket, it's wrong to just give that person a quarter."

He added: "Could you imagine someone having $32 million, and this person has nothing? And these are the people that get humanitarian awards. Millionaires."

Careful, Tupac. People might call you a Democratic socialist.
