The World's Tallest Watercoaster Looks Totally Awesome

A waterpark in Galveston, Texas is creating the world's tallest waterslide!

Schlitterbahn waterpark has dubbed the new attraction MASSIV which is the German translation of the word "massive."

In order to enjoy the slide, riders will have to climb 123 feet just to get to the top of the tower and will travel about 926 feet from start to finish.

That's a distance that's more than twice as long as any slide already at the waterpark

MASSIV is meant to feel like a rollercoaster with water blasters pushing riders along.

The exact height of the structure is yet to be determined, but the attraction is scheduled to open this summer.

It looks like the old adage is true, everything really is bigger in Texas!
