Hiking chic: Duchess Kate barely breaks a sweat on 3-hour hike

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took off today on a 3-hour hike up a mountain in Bhutan (note: It takes most people at least 4 hours! But those Royals are quite sporty) to visit the Tiger's Nest monastery. Built into the side of a steep mountain cliff, the hike up to the scenic point is not for the weary, reaching some 10,000 feet above sea level, but it makes for incredible sightseeing.

Joking that "it's a great way to burn off the curry!" the Duchess of Cambridge barely broke a sweat during her climb -- simply pushing her hair back from her face while William definitely seemed a little more affected. When asked about the climb he joked, "Easy!" while Kate commented that it is beautiful.

Kate donned green khaki pants (likely from Zara) and a white linen blouse by Jaeger. Covering up with a leather gilet, the Duchess pulled a pair of boots from her closet that she's had for over a decade! The Penelope Chilvers long tassel boots retail for over $670 (also available in a few sizes here), and clearly just get better with age.

So how does Kate do it -- keep her hair perfectly coiffed and not a drop of sweat on her brow? Bringing her stylists along for the hike certainly helps -- and the fact that she's already incredibly active! Something tells us she could have kept going for a few more hours and been just fine.

The royal couple posed for photos when they first started their hike and then at the halfway point. From then on, Kensington Palace asked reporters and photographers to allow the couple to continue the climb and experience the monastery in private. Kate and William smiled for the cameras again once they reached the bottom of the mountain again, where they spoke about their little ones who they are missing "massively."
