With 15.4 million Vine followers, over 5 billion Vine loops, and a place on Time Magazine's 30 Most Influential People on the Internet list, Vine star King Bach has quite literally become the king of the social media platform. Andrew Bachelor, the man behind the signature Vine persona, has also been able to step out of the Internet space and score appearances on BET and Showtime's "House of Lies."

Bachelor first started honing in his comedy chops at Florida Sate University, where he took part in various acting and comedy troupes. Shortly after, Bachelor took to YouTube to showcase his comedic skills to a much wider audience. It was a move that ultimately lead him to the social media platform, Vine; "I started off on YouTube and it was a long process. And in six seconds you can really just sit down and film everything on your phone. So I tried out Vine videos and it really just blew up from there."

At this year's Shorty Awards, King Bach was also nominated for Viner of the Year award, an accolade that he at first couldn't believe, "I was very excited when I found out! I mean, I hope I win. But even if I don't, this is a great show and it will be fun." With a massive following and a hysterical creative direction, it was no surprise that King Bach took home the award at this year's Shorty Awards.

Bachelor's big win undoubtedly inspired many out there to get it their best shot at the Vine world. And whether your'e just starting out on the platform or are have been an active Viner hoping to make it big, Andrew Bachelor has one piece of advice for you, "Just keep going and never give up!"

And who knows? Maybe one day you'll be winning a Shorty Award of your own.
