Nick Jonas opens up on his 'terrible' first kiss with Miley Cyrus

Nick Jonas isn't alone in having a "terrible" first kiss. Unlike the rest of us, his first smooch just happened to be with Miley Cyrus.

In a chat for BBC Radio 1 (via MTV.com), the Jonas brother fessed up on his awkward liplock a decade ago with his former girlfriend and fellow Disney star.

"The first person I kissed was Miley Cyrus and I kissed her outside of California Pizza Kitchen in Hollywood -- very romantic," he said with a laugh. "I'd just had a pizza that had onions all over it. I'm sure that my breath smelled terrible."

Host Nick Grimshaw probed further. Does Miley recall the moment? "I don't know," Jonas responded. "I'd have to ask her. But I'm sure she does. It was probably pretty potent."

Jonas has a potent career going right now. Since the start of this year he's enjoyed three top 30 solo hits with "Jealous" (No. 7), "Chains" (No. 13) and "Close" (No. 27), all lifted from his self-titled debut, which reached No. 6 on the Billboard 200.

The pop singer will hit the road withDemi Lovato from June for the Future Now Tour.
