A strong, hilarious woman who tackles the universal problems of teens and twenty-somethings, it's no wonder that Long has caught the eyes of hundreds of millions. Whether she's using her six seconds to make us laugh or shut down haters, it's definitely worth dedicating six of your seconds to her. And that's just on Vine -- Long is also prominent on Twitter and Instagram, with nearly 10,000 followers and over 21,000 followers, respectively.
We got a chance to chat with the totally humble, grateful and excited up-and-coming comedian on The Shorty Awards' teal carpet this past Monday! Ahead, we get an insider look at what it takes to make a 6 second Vine, the social platform Long is totally in love with (hint: it's not Vine) and exactly why she resonates with the poop emoji.

How are you feeling about being at the Shorty Awards for the first time?
Okay -- definitely nervous! I have some flip flops in my tummy, but I am SO excited.
How did you feel about being nominated?
It's miraculous. Don't know how it happened -- I woke up to it, and I couldn't believe it. It was amazing -- I called my whole family.

That's so amazing! So how did you get into comedy on Vine?
One day, I was just watching Vines, and I was like, I can do this! And I did, and now I'm here! It was just super random that I'm here.
What made you choose Vine over other platforms?
I loved the video aspect -- in Instagram, you just have a photo. And with Vine, the 6 seconds is such a challenge, but such a blessing at the same time. I just love the 6 seconds that I have to create something.
Even though it only takes 6 seconds to watch, how long does it actually take you to film these?
Oh -- hours. A lot of hours. Even just editing -- maybe 3 hours?
Do you have any really good Vine stories?
Well, I just have to say that not only Khloe Kardashian but also Kendall Jenner revined me and that was just the best. I feel like we're friends. I mean, they don't know -- but I know that we're friends.

Besides Vine, do you have another app that you're just completely in love with?
I'm really loving Twitter. Everybody's so funny, I can't help but fall in love with people over Twitter -- they're hilarious. You only have so many characters to be hilarious, and everybody succeeds.
And finally, what's your go-to emoji?
It's hard, but I'm going to have to go with the poop emoji. His expression, I just identify it. He's so happy just being a piece of poop. Me too.
