IHOP offers 'Kids Eat Free' program for 4 weeks

Updated

IHOP is offering a month's worth of free kids meals to families.

Now through May 6, you can get one free kids meal with the purchase of every adult entree when you dine in.

The promotion, intended to encourage families to eat dinner together, is available from 4 to 10 p.m. daily.

In a news release that touts the benefits of children being part of regular family dinners, Kirk Thompson, IHOP's senior vice president of marketing, says:

"We're hopeful that families will take advantage of our 'Kids Eat Free' promotion to rediscover the joy of disconnecting from technology and daily stress and rediscover the joy of connecting with each other."

Children ages 12 and under are eligible for a free meal, which they can choose from IHOP's kids menu. Items on the kids menu contain 600 calories or less.

The "Kids Eat Free" promotion is available at "participating locations," so call ahead to confirm your nearest IHOP is offering it. The restaurant's website allows you to search for nearby locations.
