Now that guitarist Benji Madden has relocated to wife Cameron Diaz's Beverly Hills estate, he has no need for a bachelor bungalow — so he sold his place in Nichols Canyon for $1.55 million to Australian drummer Chris Cester of Jet.

Surrounded by trees at the end of a winding, gated driveway, the home boasts enough room for the whole band: 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, a skylit great room with high ceilings and a stone fireplace, plus an open living space with a sitting room, kitchen and dining nook wrapped by French windows.

Built in 1951, the renovated home sits on a half acre of woods with a stream and an expansive terrace built for entertaining. The listing agent was Brett Lawyer of Hilton & Hyland.

Wedded bliss plunged Diaz into a real estate unloading state of mind as well. This winter, she sold one of her two Manhattan apartments for $4.25 million.
