Make your tights last longer with this surprisingly simple trick

Tights are great, and they're totally a staple of my wardrobe. They look great with skirts, they keep you warm under even slim-fit pants, and a color or pattern can add an unexpected pop of style to any outfit.

But if there's one thing that tight-wearers everywhere lament, it's that tights are pretty fragile. Even a tiny catch can cause runs and holes, and once you get a run in your tights, it's hard to repair.

Now, you can keep runs from spreading with a dab of clear nail polish or some hairspray, but what if you could prevent them from running altogether?

Good news! You can. And with this simple, easy trick, you can hang onto a pair of tights for much longer than you may have otherwise — and all it involves is a freezer!

But why freeze your tights? Well, the cold temperature actually serves to strengthen the fibers of the tights, which prevents future running.

That doesn't mean your should go running through any thorn bushes in your tights, but it does mean that they'll be a little tougher through everyday wear.

Watch the video below to see how it works. Will you be giving this a try?
