Beau Dermott was full of nerves when she took the stage at Britain's Got Talent to perform "Defying Gravity" from the hit musical Wicked.

Judge Simon Cowell had his doubts that she could pull off the difficult song, but when the young powerhouse opened her mouth, she blew away the crowd.

The tween's profound voice shocked the audience and judges, as Cowell said: "well, we weren't expecting that!"

The young girl's performance is echoing that of Susan Boyle, who rocketed to fame back in 2009 on the talent show.

Boyle's jaw-dropping and unexpected performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables on the British variety series also left the audience stunned.
