Family mourns special needs child who drowned in neighbor's pool
STOCKTON, Calif. (KTXL) -- A 6-year-old with special needs died Friday after drowning in a neighbor's pool, devastating one Stockton family.
Loved ones said Jeremiah always peeked over the neighbor's fence and liked swimming, but never thought he would go over there by himself. His sister, Dellakeinna Bournyoeung, said he wandered into their neighbor's backyard and was found face down in the water.
"I was helping just blowing air into his mouth -- I just tried as hard as I can," Bournyoeung told FOX40.

Jeremiah died at an area hospital. This big family is mourning an even bigger loss in a traditional Buddhist way, with monks at their home to pray for the child. The Stockton Police Department said there's no foul play involved in this drowning, and officers call it a tragic accident.
Jeremiah's sisters have set up a GoFundMe account to give their baby brother the burial he deserves.
