Eddie Redmayne stepped out of a suitcase at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards to introduce the exclusive new trailer for his upcoming film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

The Harry Potter prequel, written by J.K. Rowling and directed by David Yates, is set to hit theaters on Nov. 18. Before Redmayne took the stage, the MTV Movie Awards showcased its own spin on the film's first trailer, featuring a number of men in 1920s-era suits with suitcases walking around the stage and Warner Bros. backlot set of the awards show. During the sepia-toned segment, they opened the suitcases and a blue light spread along the walls of the backlot. Then one suitcase was left in the middle of the stage and Redmayne appeared to walk out of it.

"That's the most extravagant entrance I've ever experienced," the Oscar winner said before introducing the world premiere of the latest trailer for the film, which provides Harry Potter fans with a long-awaited return to Rowling's magical world.

Redmayne teased the trailer as providing a "wee glimpse of what's in store in November."

In Fantastic Beasts, Redmayne stars alongside Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Colin Farrell, Ron Perlman and Jon Voight.

The MTV Movie Awards, hosted by Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson, aired Sunday, April 10 on MTV.
