One woman's real life horror movie moment

FORT SMITH, Ark. (KHBS/KHOG) -- A 69-year-old woman was stunned to find a burglar inside her bathtub at her Fort Smith residence in Arkansas.

Mamie Sisk said it was a night she won't soon forget. She initially noticed her medication for her back pain was missing, but what scared her is when she went to use the bathroom.

"I got to the door and I saw something dark in my bathtub," Mamie Sisk said.

Shocked and scared, Sisk ran to the back of her house to tell her two sons.

"They came in and checked the bathtub. He wasn't in the bathtub," Sisk said.

They then found 35-year-old Jeremy Miller hiding in a bedroom closet.

"I pulled it open (and) he yelled, 'I got a gun,'" Robby Sisk said. "That's when I slammed it back and was trying to hold it. Then I thought he could shoot me so I jerked it back open and I just went to pounding on him."

Miller was later arrested and taken to jail. He's facing felony residential burglary charges.

Initially, Mamie Sisk thought the burglar was a homeless man.

"That's what I thought, but he couldn't sleep in my house," she said.

Mamie Sisk said Miller was friends with her son years ago, but she did not recognize him.

"He had been in this house, he ate dinner here," she said. "He's definitely not the same person."

Police arrested a second man who they believe was driving a getaway vehicle. He's also facing burglary charges.

Besides prescription medication, Mamie Sisk said she is also missing some rings that belonged to her late husband.
