Add "Roastery" to Starbuck's long list of innovative business endeavors.

The company is set to open a new 20,000 square-foot store in the heart of the Meatpacking district in New York City in 2018.

As you could have guessed, this will be Starbucks' biggest store location in the world.

What will set the Roastery apart, aside from its massive size, is that it will showcase and teach the art of roasting and brewing coffee to customers, from start to finish.

The location will also offer higher-end brews that aren't regularly available in other Starbucks locations, adding to the "coffee as theatre" vibe that the company is trying to emulate.

In a statement, Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz said:

"We want this experience to tell our customers that we're coming to Broadway."

The Roastery will be modeled off the Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room in Seattle.
