The magic has officially arrived at Universal Studios in Los Angeles.

On Tuesday night, with the quick twitch of his wand -- we mean baton -- composer John Williams put a touch of magic and sparkle into Universal Studios' brand new attraction, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Williams conducted the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the gates of Hogwarts Castle and they performed the score to the "Harry Potter" films accompanied by a light show and then an incredible fireworks show high above the turrets of Hogwarts.

The moment was simply spectacular and Williams, who composed the scores for the first three "Harry Potter" films, moved his baton effortlessly as the crowd cheered and the moment almost felt like a scene out of the movie. It was as if Harry Potter had just won the first of his Tri-Wizard tasks or Gryffindor had scored at a Quidditch game.

Castmembers from the "Potter" films, Tom Felton, Evanna Lynch, James and Oliver Phelps, Warwick Davis and celebs like Billy Bob Thornton, Mario Lopez, Vanessa Hudgens and Ed O'Neill were on tap to enjoy the special performance.
