Authorities post heartbreaking images of dog with duct taped mouth

Authorities in Darlington County, South Carolina are seeking the owner of a recently found dog, but not necessarily for the purpose of arranging a reunion.

On April 4th, the animal that had duct tape wrapped around his head and mouth, was seen wandering down a street.

A concerned person placed a call to the Darlington County Sheriff's Office, and deputies soon after located and caught the canine.

They successfully removed the tape, and the injured dog was then taken to an area animal shelter for medical assistance.

The case is currently being investigated, and anyone with information about the identity of the animal's owner in particular, is asked to contact authorities.
